Yes. We make scheduled runs up the QEII, usually once or twice a week depending on bookings. It is about 147 kilometres each way. We are a Calgary yard with no Red Deer branch, and we say so, but the route is a regular part of our week.
In practice, yes. We will still honour the $200 minimum, but we prioritise vehicles worth enough in parts to cover the trip, or multiple vehicles at one stop. If your car is only worth scrap weight, we will say so on the phone and suggest a closer option rather than leaving you waiting.
Normally two to four days from the call, sometimes sooner if a run is already booked. In winter a QEII closure can push it back. We confirm the day the night before and the driver calls when he is leaving Calgary so you know roughly when to expect the flatbed.
